Hello! This will be by 13th year in education.  I have taught in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, and also reading intervention groups.  However, 1st grade is my absolute favorite!  First Graders are so sweet, they love to learn, the curriculum is fun to teach, and the student growth is amazing!   

I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and moved to Parker, Colorado with my family when I was a junior in high school.  I graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Psychology and my Elementary Certification in 1997, and a Masters degree in Instruction and Curriculum, with an emphasis in Literacy in 2001. 

My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 21 years.  We have three boys, all attended PCK since kindergarten: Connor (19), Jack (15), and Alexander (12).   My family is active at our church, along with Boy Scout Troop 16, and Ponderosa baseball.  In my free time I love to read, cook, and watch football.
